Frontego offers a wide range of veneer products. We tailor our veneer products in the following woods: oak, beech, white beech, ash, walnut, mahogany, teak, cherry, zebrano, wenge and jatoba. If you cannot find the wood you are looking for, please contact our office and we will be happy to order whatever you require.

FACTS ABOUT UNIT FRONTS AND DOORS IN VENEER:

Please note that wood/veneer is a natural product that may vary from trunk to trunk – both in terms of structure and colour. It is also important to note that veneer doors may become slightly tarnished over time.

TREATMENT:

Our unit fronts and doors are supplied either with a finish or oil-treated.

A finished surface does not require maintenance and can simply be wiped with a clean, damp cloth. If the surface is damaged, this can only be rectified by refinishing the unit front or door.

An oil-treated surface has had a base coat of oil applied from the factory and should be retreated before the kitchen is used. It should then only be wiped with a clean, damp cloth.

If the surface is damaged, this can be rectified by light planing in the direction of the grain before treating with oil.
